To start, EMR works with the client to identify each plants energy expenditures and contractual obligations. From there, we were able to look more closely for opportunities of savings at each plant, together with opportunities to leverage the purchasing power of a large industrial energy user.
Significant savings were achieved for this customer by following through with a process that involved expert analysis of energy markets, careful management of energy assets, review of appropriate index pricing and timely scheduling of competitive bids and supply contracts.
